i'm christian as well but not a very dedicated christian. to be honest, i haven't gone to church in a long time but I do go during the holiday services and i do pray for stuff I really want sometimes. i never listen to christian music either. i know that's bad but at least i do pray and i take my religion seriously

i would like to learn more about the Jewish religion though since Raviv's Jewish (kinda silly reason to learn huh? but I'm sure some of you are the same way, right?)

not really and i seriously think you need to start dedicating your life back to christ! its not just good enough to pray and take your religion seriously its about a big commitment its about giving up your whole life to christ!

Not trying to make you feel like we're ganging up on you or anything here (which we're not), but I would have to agree. You say you take your religion seriously, but yet you also say you're not a very dedicated Christian. For one thing, true Christianity isn't a religion, anyway, it's a relationship w/ God through Jesus Christ, which can ONLY come through trusting Him as your personal Savior. You can't have a relationship w/ Him until you do that. He won't even hear your prayers until you do that. Also, praying isn't about asking for things you really want. Yes, the Bible does say to "with all prayer & supplication, let your requests be made known unto God", but prayer is more than just saying, "God, please give me this, bless this person, etc. amen". Prayer is talking to God. When you talk to someone, do you ask them to do things for you all the time? Also, you need to make sure to read the Bible on a regular basis because it's God's Word. That's the way He speaks to us.

exactly! its too bad people just think that they can not go to church or anything like that and ignore God and expect so much more! again like Melissa said were not gangin up on you so dont take it that way!

i agree with ilovericky512 and melissa without a doubt. its sooo amazing to have a relationship with god. i have one myself and its soooo cool so put ur trust into god

It IS amazing. When you truly learn to just surrender & trust in Him, He gives you a peace in your heart that is just unexplainable. No matter how bad the circumstances are, you know that everything is going to turn out okay because He is in control of every single circumstance. I've hit rock-bottom emotionally plenty of times & every time it just put things into perspective & helped me realize that ultimately God really IS all I need.
